In general equation of the form, ax + by + c = 0

The slope "m" = (-a/b)

The given equation is 2x + 3y - 5 = 0

Here 'a' = 2, 'b' = 3 & 'c' = (-5)

So the slope "m" = (-2/3)

OR

The given equation is 2x + 3y = 5

=> 3y = (-2x) + 5

=> y = (-2/3x) + 5

Comparing it with slope intercept form y = mx + c

The slope "m" = (-2/3)

Hope it helps !
