 E_{k}  = \frac{1}{2}mv^2<br /><br />E_{k} = kinetic <br /><br />m= Weight<br /><br />v= Speed<br />



Kinetic energy is the amount of energy a object has when it's moving. Potential energy is the opposite, potential energy is the amount of energy a object has when it's at rest. (or not moving)
