y=a sinπ(2t−4x)

Compare this with standard equation, y=A sin 2π(Tt−λx)

where, A= amplitude

λ= wavelength = 4

T= time period = 2

T1=21=0.5

f= frequency

f=T1=0.5

f= 0.5 Hz

Wave velocity, v=f×λ

v=0.5×4=2cm/s
