condition for infinite solution is

a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2

3/6=-1/-k=-9/18

-1/-k=1/2

k=2

Answer:

Hope it helps.

Step-by-step explanation:

6x - Ky = - 18

2 ( 3x - ky / 2 ) = -18

⇒ 3x - ky / 2 = -9

{ As we know that 3x - y = -9 }

[ So, we can say that as we see -k*y / 2 is here instead of y here so k = 2 then it cancels 2 and it becomes " -y"]

Hence, k = 2
