for series a and b resistor , eq resistor is = a+b

considering from the smallest loop or mesh

INITIALLY

we see 3 Ω and 6Ω resistor in parallel

so to make it a single one in series with 18Ω resistor we use formula

(3*6)/(3+6)=2 Ω

NOW

we see 2Ω and 18 Ω are in series

so to make it a single one in parallel to 5 Ω we use formula ,

2+18 = 20Ω

THEN

we see 5Ω and 20 Ω are in parallel

so by formula ,

(20*5)/(20+5) = 4 Ω

AT LAST

we see 4Ω and 10 Ω are in series

so we can conclude that eq resistance of total network is 14Ω
