Answer :

Five resistors each of 25Ω are connected as shown in figure.

We have to find equivalent resistance between A and B.

★ First of all we need to simplify the given circuit.

[See the attached image for better understanding.]

The given connection forms wheatstone bridge.

Therefore we won't consider middle resistor of 25Ω in the calculation.

In upper arm, two resistors are connected in series. Hence equivalent resistance will be 25 + 25 = 50Ω

Similarly equivalent resistance of lower arm also will be 50Ω

Finally two resistors of 50Ω come into parallel connection.

➝ 1/R = 1/50 + 1/50

➝ 1/R = 2/50

R = 25Ω

(C) is the correct answer.
