Look in the outer circuit at 3ohm and 3 ohm resistors they are in series so first calculate their eq. resistance
R= R1+R2
R= 3+3= 6 ohm
look in the inner circuit , all the 2 ohm's resistor are in series so
R=R1+R2+R3
R=2+2+2
R=6Ohm
now these 6 ohm's are in parallel so
1/Req= 1/6+1/6
= (1+1)/6
2/6
=1/3
so in reciprocal Req=3 ohm.
