Explanation:

The theme of this poem is to try things no matter how impossible someone says it might be. If someone says you can't do something then go prove them wrong and do it. Don't let someone's negative attitude take you away from doing something you want to do.

Rhyme: This author used many rhyming words such as done and one to make the poem more fun and enjoyable to read. It also allows the reader to sing along with the poem in their head when reading.

Assonance: Guest used assonance along with rhymes to continue the streak and make the poem sound better in the end.

Consonance: Guest repeats many words resulting in a rhythmic poem that you can sing along with.

Alliteration: The repetision of constant letters and words is very easily found within this poem. Along with all of the listed poetic devices above, this poetic device makes it fun and catchy to read.

OVERVEIW

"It couldn't be done" to me is a very inspirational poem. This man defied what others said and told him and others and ended up succeeding in the end. I believe that the author did not tell the audience what this man was accomplishing because they wanted the reader to imagine themselves as if they were the person succeeding in their task making it an ambition/ inspirational poem.
