Answer:

The length of the field as measured by the surveyor = 38 meters.

The width is 17 meters.

The field is therefore rectangular.

We know the perimeter of a rectangle is 2 X (length + width).

Therefore the perimeter of the field is 2 X (38 +17) = 110 meters

Converting it into kilometer, it is 0.11 kilometers.
