Total fabric Erica bought = 3\frac{1}{2} yards

= 7/2 yards

Fabric used to make curtains = 2/3 of Total fabric

=  \frac{2}{3}  *  \frac{7}{2}

= 7/3 yards

Fabric left with her = Total fabric - fabric used to make curtains

=  \frac{7}{2} - \frac{7}{3}

=  \frac{21 - 14}{6}

= 7/6 yards

=  1\frac{1}{6}  yards

Hence, fabric she have left = 1\frac{1}{6} yards
