Tallam is situated at an (a) -

altitude of about 550 feet on the southern (b) ...

arm of a deep bay in the Western Ghats. (C) ....

Tallam boasts of delightful forest scenery. (d) ..

a) In- at. Altitude is the height of a place from sea level. Hence it is always referred to as ‘at’ an altitude. For instance, Shimla is at an altitude of about 2000 metres.

b) A- the. Since a specific bay is being referred to, (in connection with Tallam) the article ‘the’ is more appropriate here.

c) On-in. The Western Ghats are mountain ranges that line the western shoreline/coast of India. The bay therefore has to be in ‘in’ the region covered by the Ghats and not ‘on’ a mountain top.

d)Delight-delightful. ‘Delightful’ is the correct word form here.
