Answer:

Given polynomial :

 {x}^{2}  - x - 6

Solution :

 {x}^{2}  - x - 6 = 0

 {x}^{2}  - (3 - 2)x - 6 = 0

 {x}^{2}  - 3x + 2x - 6 = 0

x(x - 3) + 2(x - 3) = 0

(x - 3)(x + 2) = 0

(x - 3) = 0 \: and \: (x + 2) = 0

x = 3 \: and \: x =  - 2

So, 3 and -2 are the zeros of the polynomial.

Ans. 3, -2

Hope it helps.
