Escherichia belongs Monera group. Monera which comprise Eubacteria and Archeobacteria Individuals are single-celled Eubacteria, may be mobile or immobile,  contains a cell wall. The cell wall has no chloroplasts or any other organelles, and have no nucleus as well.

Monera is generally very minute in size although one type, namely the blue-green bacteria, look similar to algae. The Monera Kingdom comprises of all bacteria. Bacteria are unicellular organisms that are made of very simple components.

They often come without a nucleus and is a cell membrane. Most organisms in the Monera Kingdom are capable to reproduce through fission process.
