A flower which never open it petals, to self-Pollinate exclusively is called Cleistogamous flower.

Eg: oxalis, Viola.

Cleistomagous flowers ensures that their is no cross pollination

In this pollen and stigma lie close to each other and stigma remains close till the anther dehisce
