What is better for children "marks or grade"?

I know every student here feels grades are better than marks and so I do.. grades are just A,A+,B and etc but to be honest marks are better than grades because they show your performance in clearly...

Grades donot make a big change but when you get your marks they tell you that you have to try even more harder to get good percentage.

Till I was a kid we use to have grades my mom use to neglect my performance on my paper and always concentrated which grade I got but the truth is scoring good marks is harder and challenging than getting good grades ( according to me ).
