Reducing pollution by implementing ecofriendly mechanism to cook food

Man’s each and every activity causes pollution. The environment has reached its maximum limit of absorbing pollution. Any further pollution will wreak havoc on all living creatures, including man.

Cooking is one of the many activities that adds to the already existing air pollution. People in developing countries such as India use old, traditional methods of cooking. They use wood, leaves, coal, animal dung, etc. to cook their meals that causes lots of air pollution. According to reports 85 % of the rural people use traditional fuels. The pollution caused by the emissions from old cooking methods leads to health implications such as cancer, pneumonia, and heart problems.

The Government and the people should look into it and switch to reducing pollution by using ecofriendly ways of cooking. The Government must make ecofriendly cooking stoves to as many people as is possible. Stoves such as LPG stoves, Induction stoves, and electrical stoves.

People who can afford, they should also replace their traditional stoves with the clean cooking practices and tools.
