AIR POLLUTION

Air pollution is the most immediate issue of today's world. Be it anywhere around the globe, air pollution certainly is troubling all the masses and is causing huge potential destruction. But more bothersome fact is that we, human beings, after being aware of the evils of air pollution, continue to pollute air and lead to our own destruction. We are not able to take effective measure and reduce the pollution because of our ignorance and selfishness. In present days, the rates of respiratory diseases are rising up and the global warming is also fastening. Even then we continue to ignore the facts and stay tuned in polluting the environment. Though certain organisations and govt schemes have been formulated to spread awareness and enlighten people to stop polluting the air, they are not yet widespread. We are completely dependent upon fossil fuels which are the main polluters of air. Besides these, domestic cooking and industrial emissions also contribute a lot in airport pollution. We need to look for more sustainable resources and techniques to aid our lives and stop air pollution. Thus, air pollution is and will be a major problem until we ourselves don't stop it because we are the creators of it.

Hope this helps!

Air pollution causes asthma, pneumonia, lungs cancer, etc diseases. It is caused by increasing number of vehicles have reduced our environment that causes air pollution and also noise pollution. Forest purify the air by absorbing carbon dioxide and air pollutants like carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide and by releasing oxygen which is an end product of photosynthesis.
Respiration of living organisms, decay of organic matter and burning of fuels use up oxygen and release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. at the same time, green plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen during photosynthesis. This keeps the amounts of these gases in the air constant. However, we are cutting down trees in large numbers and the same time burning more fuel. This is increasing the amount of carbon dioxide and upsetting the balance of gases in environment, this causes halmful air pollution.
