due to the outbreak of coronavirus the import of goods has stopped which has caused many problems in the market which leads us to know that we should be self reliant.

becoming self reliant starts from

1. buycott other countries goods and buy

made in India goods as much as possible

2. encouraging local producers to make goods

3. government should give helps to local producers to set up there small industries

4. providing different facilities local producer

5. Buying made in India goods etc.

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in association with Mygov.in and NCERT is organizing an essay competition for the school students as part of the Independence Day celebrations under the theme ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat- Swatantra Bharat’. The competition will be held online. The deadline to submit the essay is August 14 (till 11:59 pm)

School students at the secondary and senior secondary stages (classes 9 to 12) can participate. The theme ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat- Swatantra Bharat’ envisions the emergence of a robust and strong nation committed to the welfare of all.

In the run-up to the Independence Day celebrations in the country, the Ministry of Human Resource Development in partnership with MyGov is organizing an online essay writing competition for specific age of school students (IX to X or Secondary Stage and XI to XII or Higher Secondary) across the country. The NCERT will be the Nodal Agency for this event.

The present pandemic, COVID-19, as our Honorable Prime Minister reminds us, has once again brought to the forefront with our commitment to address challenges of life with thrust on our own capabilities and abilities.

As the theme – Aatmanirbhar Bharat- Swatantra Bharat rightly reiterates our commitment for working towards achieving self-reliance in all sectors of our economy rooted in our own pillars of culture, heritage and knowledge for becoming a global force to reckon with.

The selection of essays will be taken up at two levels. Firstly, States/UTs level will finalize the essays. Next, the selected 10 essays from each state will become the pool of selected essays for the final selections at the national level by a team of experts decided by NCERT.

30 essays will be selected in each category i.e. Secondary stage and Higher Secondary stage by the NCERT. Prizes will be announced for the national level winners soon. Students may submit their entries on the link below by 14th August, 2020
