Faith is defined in the dictionary as the complete confidence or trust in a person or thing; or the belief based on proof. Faith can also refer to a particular system of religious belief. There is two different types of “Faith”, Natural Faith and Supernatural faith. When considering Supernatural faith or faith from a religious point of view; one must examine how a person’s belief or faith in something can encourage them to believe in the impossible and perform above and beyond their known ability. Faith is an action word it involves trusting our creator. Many examples of supernatural faith can be seen in those suffering from chronic illnesses such as cancer, doctors’ give a diagnoses of six months to live but because of a strong spiritual belief cancer patients have supernaturally been healed and diagnosed cancer free.
Faith has also worked negatively for many, faith such as with those that follow cults can end with deadly consequences.
