Answer:
In times today people aim at sending their children to school not just for the purpose of getting a good education but also for personality development and character building.
In this process of character building one of the good examples set by multiple schools is the school parliament. The existence of a student body, its departments, committees and president which is elected by the students themselves ensures that they get a voice.
This teaches the children about responsibility, protection of their rights and how the school laws are binding. This is a need for all schools and must be implemented as it teaches children what approach may be used to get your word across authorities through a formal procedure.
