As the sun rose on a changed landscape, it seemed that all life on earth hadbeen destroyed mercilessly, so much so that there was even no rubble« Noevidence of what came upon this land; it seemed that destruction had taken anew meaning with a much more lurid nature. I knew now what people meantwhen they said there are no words for describing the atmosphere. I doubtedwhether anyone had invented a word fit enough for the destruction that hadbefallen this land. The scene portrayed an inconceivable death and destructionof such proportion that anyone who had come here for the first time wouldhave never known that a city existed here and any person would have doubtedwhether death of such magnitude ever took place here. There were no corpses but there was the lingering smell of the putrid corpsesbut I knew«I knew only too well, a couple of a million people couldn¶t justdematerialize« Could they? They couldn¶t possibly« The heat of the day andthe shock of this calamitous event were starting to take their toll on me«. Istarted to drift in and out of consciousness and my head was hurting real badlike the time I had cephalalgia« It felt as if I was dying« I felt as if I was amoribund person.
