Groundwater is lifeline of our nation it's very important for survival of people as well as for all people's need.Its a very important resource.There is no place where water is not available and there is no one who can survive without water.Groundwater is a important resource because it fulfill the need of water of people.It maintains the level of water table too and the temperature of ground.It has several advantages.Groundwater can be brought to use by fixing handpumps and tube wells so that water can be pulled up to the ground and can be brought in use.Groundwater is formed when rain comes and the water seeps into the ground and forms this precious resource groundwater.But due to excessive use of water one day will come when the groundwater will be finished.But as we know that it is a renewable resource it is used very much carelessly but it should be used wisely and carefully so that future generations can also use it.And one more thing due to global warming this water is evaporated soon and thus will be finished and groundwater pollution is also let groundwater to a finishing line.So,what u all think we should follow various steps to conserve this precious resource.Right?.So let's start with talking about the various ways to conserve it.One way is rainwater harvesting system it's a system in which we store groundwater in big tanks and use it for future use.And other one is use water wisely and properly so that use of groundwater is only when it's very necessary.Students should make awareness regarding it and should make posters which can help them in this pledge of saving of groundwater.One must think that how much it's difficult for the people who have to walk very large distances in collecting of water,one such area is of Rajasthan it's a dry place where water availability is less,so one have to walk long distances to fetch water.So,conserve groundwater atleast for them also.Save groundwater,save life and thus save earth.

Ground water actually means the water present under the ground which has accumulated there because of rainwater seeping in the ground via pores and cervices. Ground water plays a major role in sustaining life of and individual as well as of a whole nation.

About 1.8% of total water available on Earth (saline as well as fresh) is groundwater.

Groundwater is the main source of irrigation for many small scale irrigatio projects. Many farmers still depend on rain and groundwater for irrigation on the patches of land. It also plays a major role hyrological cycle and rock genesis. 

According to water survey in India in 1986, groundwater resource has been declared as the prime source of water next to rain for majority of the citizens of India. USGC- United States geological commission has declared that 33%of its water needs were fulfilled due to groundwater.

Development rank of a country and living standard of citizens of a country can be decided by avaibility and usage of resources. Water is one of the major resource for living.

This shows that groundwater plays a major role in develpoment of a nation. Hence the title of essay is satified - Groundwater: life line of nation.
