The products can be
internally designed and internally manufactured within the company
internally designed but manufactured by contact to another company
designed by another company and manufactured by that company
designed and by another company but manufactured internally
and other combinations since design, manufactured and marketed are separate functions.
Finally when a company buys a product designed and manufactured by another company -exclusivity can be all combinations, for examples
