essay my daily routine for house
Answers
Answer:
I am a student. Hence my daily life follows a very simple routine. It is more or less the same except on Sunday. I once heard from my teacher that early rising is the father of three blessings- healthy, wealth and wisdom. Since then I have been rising early in the morning. I get up at 4 o’clock.
After doing my morning duties. I take bath in cold water. I put on my clean clothes and go to the temple. It is my mother’s wish that I should begin the day’s work with a prayer to God.
Then I take my breakfast. It consists of a few biscuits and a glass of milk. Then I sit at my books. I read them till 8 a.m. During three hours I practically finish all the reading of my lessons. Then I complete home task of different subjects. I do not believe in eleventh hour preparations. I know that labour will lead to success. At 9 I take my meal. I dress myself. I brush my shoes. At 9.30 I start for my school with my friend, Sohan on cycles.
The school begins at 10 a.m. I am at school ten minute earlier. I do not take much interest in the school work. In every period the teacher seems to be talking to the dullest boys. I often feel that there is no teaching for a brilliant boy. Hence I hate classroom atmosphere still I attend to what each teacher says. I pay full respect to every teacher. Hence I learn different subjects according to the school time table. In the first period I learn English. In the last period I learn History
During recess I go to canteen. I take tea there. After I play for some time with my friends. I also go to library to borrow books. As soon as the recess ends. I go to my class to study for last four periods. Recess makes us fresh for further study.
The school breaks up at 4 p.m. I return home at about 4.30 p.m. having taken the light lunch I take rest for fifteen minutes. At 5 p.m. physical exercise in gymnasium. Here is spend half an hour. My body beings to perspire. Then I run to the playground to take part in different games. My best interest goes to hockey. It is the game which refreshes my mind and makes me active. Then I get back home and take a cold bath. Now I feel myself light. After having my dinner I take evening walk. Then I site by the side of my mother. She tells me good stories. At about 140 p.m. I go to bed.
One Sunday and other holidays. I sometimes go to cinema for entertainment. At other times I go to visit my friends. In holidays there is a break in the daily routine. But I never break the golden rule of “ early to bed and early to rise.” Regularity in work has taught me the value of time.
Every day doesn’t look exactly the same for me, but this is the routine I’ve been using and it seems to be working:
- walk up: Usually around 5 or 6 am (whenever our son gets up). The first thing I do is make a bottle and feed the baby, letting my hard-working wife sleep in a little.
- make breakfast. Usually eggs (I try to start the day with protein, not carbs). Start boiling water for French press coffee.
- write something, anything. This can be a blog post, book chapter, article, or just some random notes to myself. For me, it’s not about what I write as much as it is important just to write. Usually, I wrote around 1000 words; sometimes less, sometimes more. As I do this, I drink coffee and listen to music while my son plays.
- check email. Reply to the most important items. Delete everything I don’t need from the previous day.
- check in on social media. If I’ve written a post for the day, this is when I would share it.
- finish coffee. At this point, it’s usually cold, because I forgot to drink in my haste to begin writing.
- read something. This may be a novel, the Bible, or one of many nonfiction books I am in the middle of. Whatever it is, it must be analog. I find holding a book activates a different part of my brain than reading on a screen. I also enjoy audiobooks but listen to those throughout the day.
- go for a walk. I often use taking the dog for a walk as an excuse to get some exercise. I use this time to think, pray, and collect my thoughts for the day.
- take a shower. Then get dressed and get ready to begin the day.
Drink a large glass of water (at least a liter). Then sit at my “desk” (i.e. the kitchen table, couch, or actual desk) and start working.
Every day is unique and different, but that’s what my routine has looked like lately. As our son gets older, I’m sure this will change. But for now, this is what works.
Having a routine is not something that comes natural to me, but it’s nonetheless important. I discipline myself to have this structure, because it helps me be creative in other parts of my life.
