DEAR STUDENT
In the society, we have various roles and they are all important in our daily lives. Even though I am only a teenager, I also have many roles, such as a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a student and a Catholic. What are my responsibilities in my roles?
In the society, I am a citizen. Nowadays, the world has many terrible natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and typhoons. Many people lost their family, homes or even their lives. People have also destroyed the natural environment which cause the air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, land pollution and also light pollution. Animals and plants are becoming extinct. I think that protecting the environment is our responsibility. It is part of our role as citizens to take care of the environment and not to waste natural resources such as, petroleum, coal and water. Therefore, my family and I always reuse and recycle materials. My family and I practise the reuse by using less plastic bags, tissue paper, or disposable dining utensils. We replace them with our own bags, towels and reusable tableware in order to have a sustainable environment. We will also recycle the aluminum cans, plastic bottles, waste papers and glassware too.
On the other hand, as a citizen, we should also keep our society fair and peaceful. I have the role and responsibility to follow the laws such as crime prevention, and obey the rules of society.
At school, I am a student. I need to study hard with my classmates so that I can have a great job to contribute to society when I grow up. Also, I need to do homework and read books. Besides, I am a school prefect in school. I help the teachers to keep order in the classroom or playground. In addition, I am a classmate. I always help my fellow classmates with their homework. I teach the younger students knowledge and moral conduct. This role at school can foster the talents of society.
I have a lot of roles and responsibilities in different aspects in our society. I am very pleased and willing to serve people and I will do as much as I can to improve the society so that everyone is living under a peaceful world. Although I cannot change the world, I will try my best to make the world a better place and its people more joyful.
