Vallabhbhai J Patel enormously called as Sardar Patel was born on October 31, 1875 in Nadiad i.e. Gujarat. Infact his family is not educated but due to strong determination and hard work Patel got great heights in his life. He took active involvement in Salt Satyagraha, Civil Disobedience Movement and Quit India Movement and was thought as one of the most influential leaders during the Freedom Movement.
Due of his strong character and fearlessness he was said as Iron Man of India.
Sardar Patel was hugely influenced by Mahatma Gandhi and then he joined India’s freedom struggle.
He worked for peasant movement in various regions of Gujarat and take up the cause of the farmers against heavy taxes burdened on them from Britishers.
He became president of INC in the year 1931.
He took active involvement in Salt Satyagraha, Civil Disobedience Movement, Quit India Movement and was considered one of the most influential political leaders during the Freedom Movement.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patels vision and his work and principles were highly outstanding in construction of modern and Independent India.
