If fathers went for strike, we'd never really know the difference. But mothers going on stirke (& she must never even be given this idea) children would be left unfed & shabby, the home will be a cpmplete mess & life will be a terrible disaster! A mother is the very soul of the home. Imagine her sitting in one corner refusing to do anything at all! Who'd clean the house? Who'd see to the cooking & washing? Who'd serve you the nice warm meal that you are so used to? Who'd pick up the things that you so carelessly left around left around the ouse, & put them back in place? Who'd tuck you into bed & kiss you goodnight? What is a home without a mother? Are children or the father capable of keeping a comfortable house? If mother goes on strike even for a day, you are sure to find out how helpless you are. Imagine father frying an egg, or didi serving dinner! So if you do not want mother to go on stirke, all you have to do is to be a bit thoughtful & considerate. Don't test her patience too much. Give her a hug & a kiss now & then. Smile at her & tell her you love her. Go now & then to the market to fetch the vegitables. Help her in whatever way you can. Help her sometimes when she is cleaning the house. Life would indeed be miserable if mothers went on strike. Pray to God every night that it never happens!
