One day I was returning from my school in the afternoon. The road was not sufficiently broad. But it was busy in traffic. Motor cars, motor cycles, bicycles, taxis, and buses were passing by the road. There were only two police constables who were very busy in controlling the flow of traffic. Pedestrians were found to take risk of crossing the road from here and there. Suddenly, my eyes fell on a blind old man with a stick in his hand. He was physically handicapped. He rested one side of his body chiefly on the long stick that he was firmly holding. He was waiting to cross the road. But he seemed to be feeling scared of an accident, because the speedy vehicles may not bother for his helpless condition. And I saw, to my surprise, that a college girl, who was also waiting to cross the road, caught hold of the blind man's hand. She helped him to cross the road, taking the risk of road hazards on herself. I will never forget in my life the pleasant scene that not only brought me joy but also taught me a noble lesson.
