A great day with my fest friend.
15th August was a great day in my life. It was not only a red-lettered day but a day of vital importance in my life. Our school had taken our class for an outing. We got up early in the morning and went to a remote village. There was no electricity or modern technology in the village yet the simple and humble villagers celebrated Independence Day with pride. We were asked to dine with the village headman.
The food was wonderful. It had no artificial flavour and was absolutely fresh and tasty. My friends and I then met the village children. They were innocent and simple. They took us around the village. They were not technologically savvy like us but they knew more of Nature and her secrets than us.
The village life was like a treasure hunt of the beauty of Nature. My friends and I enjoyed the day fully. We were almost in tears when we had to come back home. It was one of my greatest days with my friend .
