Answer :
My favourite family vacation happened two years ago. We visited Corsica, a French island off the coast of Italy in the south of France. I recalled waking up early in anticipation of visiting this new land. I'm used to long flights, so I was taken aback when I arrived at my destination after only a one-hour journey. Even though the flight was brief for me, it was difficult for my mother because she has never felt safe on a plane, owing to her fear of heights. When we finally arrived at our location, we were greeted by dry, warm weather.
My father and I had been looking forward to diving in the clear water for a few weeks. While walking along the beach, I was astounded by the silky, smooth sand beneath my feet; it felt as if all of my troubles from the previous year had finally vanished. I found a cold rock facing the ocean and chose to sit there for a while to take in the scenery. I closed my eyes for a second, letting myself be soothed by the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks.
My brother was driving as I was still taking in the scenery; I found it fascinating that this island had a combination of mountains and beaches. Conversations at the table were spontaneous and upbeat, and I forgot how much fun breakfast could be when spent with family.
That day, we had made plans to go to the beach, and my mother had a good idea of what my father and I were planning. It was scuba diving and harpoon hunting, but first we had to buy the proper equipment and research which fishes we could shoot, as some were protected, as well as review which fishes were edible. We arrived at the venue after finishing our preparations.
