It was the farewell. A few days before the event I had myself rumoured to my friends that I wont be able to make to the farewell party organised in the college. I had actually planned a surprise visit to all of them. Had something special to offer my friends out of the box.
What I had planned to do was to sing a song "baatein bhul jaati hai, yaadein yaad aati hai" while entering the auditorium. For rehearsals I purposefully arrived to the venue a few hours early. Was hidden in an old classroom behing the auditorium so that no one can find me before my surprise is out. Just as the event started and a few proceedings went on I suddenly entered with the mic in my hand. I was a little nervous as was singing in public for the first time, but never mind the audience was all my friends and staff members. So I entered from the back door and walked down to stage all the way while singing the memorable song. There were cheers all around me. It was like a nostalgic moment. Had a bit tears in my mind thinking these are the last few days with my classmates and in the college where i spend my 4 graduating years. And the surprise was not yet over. Near the end of the event I had also planned a photostory video with friendship songs playing in thr background. It featured all my friends and teachers' photo presentstions right from the first year till the final year. That video made every one emotional. Few of my friends thanked me for this wonderful gift. Later the DJ and dance followed and at the end we all had a memorable dinner together. That was my best occassion with my class mate
