A Day in a Student’s Life
Student-hood is the most enjoyable period of any person's
life, provided he has the right perspective. For being student means having
been given the opportunity to explore knowledge. Real enjoyment is not the temporary
enjoyments of the bodily pleasures; they are the ones related to mind,
intellect, and intelligence. What enjoyment can be more permanent than the
enjoyment of learning the secrets of the universe? Knowledge, wise people say
is power. This power can only be had by students. A student has all the
learning resources at his disposal; he can gain as much knowledge as he wishes
or sets his mind to.
A student’s day starts quite early. He has to get up early
in the morning to get ready for the school. Some very ambitious and dedicated
students get up very early to do studies. At school then he become engrossed in
learning the basic knowledge about the subjects such as Math, English, Science,
Social Science, Computers, Drawing, Moral Science, etc. He is wonderstruck at
the vastness and complexity of the knowledge of these subjects. Some students
who easily get distracted and fail to maintain their focus on the abstract and
abstruse concept, find it difficult to understand such concepts. Here such
students must muster their entire focus and exert to concentrate on these
challenges.
At school, a student also gets an opportunity to take part
in extra and co-curricular activities that help in the all-round development of
his personality.
After school, he goes back home with homework assignments given to him by the teachers. After some relaxation, he again gets busy in his studies too. At times he may get frustrated on account of the academics pressure on him. However, he must remember that it is the golden period of his life in which he gets an opportunity to lay foundations for his future success and career. He must remember he must utilize the opportunity of learning, training, and gaining knowledge optimally. Any lackadaisical approach to studies, discipline, or any giving in to distractions can prove quite harmful to the future course of his life. He must strive to do his best!
