I was very young and didn’t know the rental deal I got was in the middle of crime center of that City. Due to my work schedule I rarely hangout among neighbors. Only when I went to court one day to contest my traffic violation I found many people who I say “Hello and Hi” in the neighborhood were living on probation after prison time and had to see authorities weekly to be assessed and passed. That many cases of crimes heard that day were of my neighbors, lol. That I was living a stone-throw away from a major penitentiary. That’s why I was given ticket coming down on a bridge 2 mile over speed the limit. I left that place soon after. Later found out there were daily firing on nearby streets resulting in injury or death. Not anymore though. It’s pretty safe area now. I show the place I used to live to my kids. When we go there for shopping. They still have authentic Polish bakeries and hotdog and sausage makers. New fresh meat and poultry suppliers are a magnet from attracting customers from far and wide.
