Sports Day in My School Essay: Our annual sports day, held earlier this month, was full of fun and excitement. The entire school, including the playground, was decorated with flags, colourful buntings and flowers. Many boys and girls took part in the event.
The 100 m race, which was very exciting, was won by my friend Mansoor. My other friend Rajat, secured the first position in the long jump. But my classmate Anish fell and injured himself during high jump.
The event came to a close with the distribution of prizes, which were given away by our principal. The following day was declared holiday by our principal. Sports is one such activity which helps us in maintaining a proper physique and a positive mentality.
