Atal Bihari Vajpayee 25 December 1924 – 16 August 2018) was an Indian politician who served three terms as the Prime Minister of India: first for a term of 13 days in 1996, then for a period of 13 months from 1998 to 1999, and finally, for a full term from 1999 to 2004. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he was the first Indian prime minister who was not a member of the Indian National Congress party to have served a full five-year term in office.

atal bihari was born on 25 december 1924, at Shinde Cantt in Madhya Pradesh. Shri vapeyee beloved son of shri krishan bihari vajpayee and smt. Krishna devi. While he was just a student, he aligned himself to the Rashtriya Swayam Sewak Sangh ( R.S.S.) and later become it's "Pracharak" . He is the founder member of 'jansangh' then political party founded by R.S.S. After enterings the politics of the country, he climbed up step by step and now he is the spotless meticulous statesman of the Indian politics.
He is the first prime minister of India who is regard as non- controversial heart-rending throb of the country. He is held in high esteem not only by his party men but also by other member of the indian politiy. Even the ex-prime minister of india - shri shivraj patil and shri ram vilas paswan have felt charmed by his speeches. From the political standpoint, even the stalwarts of other revals functions have been full of commendations gor him.
