Benevolence is a very rare quality of the human heart. All the great personages and spiritual masters have emphasized the importance of practicing benevolence while dealing with others, especially those who are our opponents, enemies, and adversaries. The world is governed by the law of ‘give and take’. According to this law what you give, comes back to you multiplied.
Similarly, charity also is a great virtue. Charity is an inner urge to help people in need. The aching world needs more benevolence and charity. There are millions of people who are suffering and in need. Their sufferings can be assuaged only if benevolent people come forward to do charity.
In conclusion it can be said that benevolence and charity have the power to make the suffering less in this world.

And when we understand somebody we become more empathetic and compassionate about others and that's how we grow into a charitable person. A charitable heart can understand people's pain and needs and they emphasize with them. But then not everyone can be a charitable person because it is not a charity when we are doing it for merely being the talk of the town but rather when we give our time, our attention and our possessions to really help them to better their conditions and to uplift them and trying to understand them as well as we could. Then only a person can truly be a charitable person and that’s why benevolence is the key to be a charitable person.
