Books :

which books do you mean ? not all, I hope. I like studying by reading, by practicing. Reading books is a good way for learning a language. They help you to developp your own imagination (comics and tv do not, they impose you false pictures)

For the comics, I can agree with you. They don't show the reality. They are only pictures. But they help us to make the link between pictures and words. They help you for writing well (tv does not do so).

Games :

Once more : which games do you ? which games don't you ? games are very useful for motivation, pThey help you to developp your own imagination, pleasure, imagination, activity, communication.

But maybe you thougt about violent games (like violent comics), about war games, about fighting games (like fighting books). In this case, I agree with you. By playing violent games, war games, people (not only the young people) begin to see war and fighting like any games. And they finally find these (war and fighting, all form of violence) normal. They lose a part of the notion of the respect.

But maybe you thought about concurrency games (losers and winners). It is a pity that we have developped, created much more concurrency games than solidarity games (all winners or all losers). Maybe that is why many people are individualist or see any new person as a enemy.

Films :

I've already said that nearly all at tv is not the reality. A part of tv are the films. In 11 days, I won't have watch tv (or cinema) for 1 year. Let me keep it !



But I don't think that censure and prohibition is a good politics. Better is to promove activities that you think good. [refusing, censuring, prohibiting, ..., are negationnist attitudes, and they can have a sense without the thing that you boycot. If you give sense to negationnist attitudes, you give sense and power to thing that you boycot : so I was wrong when I "encourage boycotting" the tv :mrgreen: Now I will encourage sport, good alimentation, travelling, walking, discussing...]
