Education is subject which British people care deeply.  

Maximum believe that state should give education free of charge and high standard.  

During election politicians promises to spend more on education.  

There been a lot of debate regarding students having to pay their fees at university and living expenses.  

Some are afraid that poorer students will not get financial help and will not pursue their higher education.  

Schools which are supported and maintained are called "public schools" and are independent and charge huge fees for education.

British Education is obligatory between ages of 5-15.  

At five children go to Infant School.  

At eleven children take so-called "eleven plus" examination confirming the type of secondary school for attending.

With that being said, education still remains a luxury and not a necessity in our country. Educational awareness needs to be spread through the country to make education accessible.
