Introduction

Environmental pollution can be described as a deadly earthly disease that affects plants, animals, flora and fauna and humans. It is caused due to excessive burden on natural resources by an ever increasing human population. It tampers with nature which protects the existence of animate and inanimate creatures.

Environmental Pollution

Pollution poisons the atmospheric air we breathe by depleting the ozone which is a protective halo encircling the earth; protecting us from the sun’s scorching heat emitting through its infra – red rays.

Use of chemicals in agricultural activities, like fertilizers, insecticide sprays, injecting chemicals to hasten growth of vegetables and fruits, preservatives to prolong their life, ends up in consuming inorganic and artificially grown food.

Once again solid industrial waste and fumes emitted pollute land, rivers, seas and atmosphere. The earth trying to grapple for space from over-population is running a losing battle from urban development, encroaching upon its green lands and forests. Stretching and occupying land available farther and further. Human resources are eating and grabbing into natural resources emptying the earth’s belly, by mining and quarrying; to cater to an ever increasing affluence.

Chasing animals away from their natural habitat into dangerous human territory where they stray in search of food. And become prey to humans, who find it easier to kill them for food and their body parts are procured for buyers for marketing favors.

Conclusion

Environmental pollution is an unnatural cyclical ring and racket that poses eventually to mar the face of existence from the earth, by declining human health, resources, pure food, water and air; hazardous climate changes and ruthless natural calamities.
