On 1st April 1621 Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was born in Amritsar. He was the son of Guru Hargobind and Mata Nanaki , he also had one sister and four brothers. He was the sixth guru of Sikhs. He was trained in martial arts especially in archery . He was also trained in horsemanship. It was from the very young age. He received some religious training and the religious training was given by Baba Buddha and Bhai Gurudas. He was very brave and because of that he fought with Mughals without any fear. Because of his fearless attitude his father gave him the title of 'Tegh Bahadur' which means ' Mighty of Sword'. This title was given for his bravery at the very young age.
