Clean india mission or Swachh Bharat abhiyan is a step taken by the initiative of Indian government under Shri. Narendra Damodardas Modi.
"Cleanliness drive is something that touched Indians"
- Narendra Modi
This mission implemented to clean up the streets, roadsides and other infrastructures. This campaign also implemented to build latrines in rural areas.
This campaign was officially launched on 145th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi ji (On October, 2nd 2014) at Rajghat, New Delhi. This programme aimed to make India clean and green by 150th birth anniversary of Gandhi ji. That means by 2019. “A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019,” said Shri Narendra Modi. This campaign also initiated citizens of India towards cleanliness.
This programme was implemented to fulfil our Gandhi ji's dream. In his period, Gandhi ji said "Cleanliness is next to godlines". He also said that "Sanitation is most important that our independence". He had tried for clean India in his time by motivating people through his campaigns and slogans but it could not be true because of the partial involvement of the people of India.
After years, Because of our honorable Prime minister, Shri. Narendra Modi. Indian government again started CLEAN INDIA MISSION to fulfil Gandhi's dream towards India. It is really a big challenge for all the Indians citizen. It is only possible if each and every person in India would understand this campaign's motive by their own responsibility and try to meet hands together to make it a successful mission.
So through this campaign the Indian government would solve the sanitation problems by enhancing the waste management techniques. Clean India movement is completely associated with the economic strength of the country.
Making india green is only possible by growing more trees. But we people won't do that nowadays. Instead we cut down them in large scale which causes deforestation. It is really bad to our country as well to our earth. Despite of cutting the trees we can plant trees. I don't mean that stop cutting trees. In this generation that is really a challenge. But we can reduce cutting trees and increase the planting of trees. So by cutting one tree we should plant two trees in place of that cut down one.
Next coming to this polythene bags and plastics that we use. Again it is difficult for human being to stop or eradicate those plastics and polythene bags completely. But we can reduce them by using cotton, jute, paper bags in some places.
All I mean to say is,
》 Plant more trees
》 Reduce the usage of plastics
》 Don't dare to litter the public places because we people never ever try to litter our own house. Then why are we/why should we litter our public places or surroundings?
》 Also don't allow others to lit the places.
So being an Indian citizen especially being a great student, We should never litter and never ever let others litter.
