Cleanliness is a good habit. It is mandatory for all of us.  We need to keep ourselves clean physically.  We also need to maintain our surroundings clean and hygienic.  Our physique stays healthy.  We save on medical expenses and time loss.   We will be able to think of good thoughts.  We slow down the growth of insects and diseases.

By keeping ourselves and our surroundings clean, we are also teaching good habits to those who do not know about them.  When we keep the surroundings clean, we are not allowing the demon-like germs, insects and diseases to spread around the world and cause damage to neighbouring people. We are directly or indirectly helping others.

Cleanliness is same as not Godliness as we are taking care of ourselves in cleaning. But it is next to being Godly, as we are helping others to be in good health and to be good.
Children they keep their minds clean. They do not pollute the environment.  Being clean is next possible thing to being a God.

Cleanliness helps good and mankind.  Helping oneself is humanly.  Helping Others is Godly.  So cleanliness is next to Godliness, that is, Godliness after Godliness.

Cleanliness means to keep ourself physically(body) and mentally(brain) clean.

It gives a person personality.

It is a good habit and everyone should adopt it.

Cleanliness is very important for us.

By cleanliness we can get rid of diseases.

Cleanliness is next to godliness—certainly this is duty, not a sin.

A person who is clean and tidy and well dress up gets respects from those around him than those who have a slovenly and unkempt appearance.

It is an insult to respectable people to meet them with dirty face and hands, and soiled and evil-smelling clothes.

A gentleman would feel ashamed if he could not keep himself clean.

Also in Temples or any worship place cleanliness is first done than worship.
Hence cleanliness is a next step to godliness.
