Everything has come to a standstill and it has become a war-like situation. The fear of disease is killing more than the disease itself. It seems this period of adversity has united us all. We all are fighting for the same cause.
We live in a globalized world and are interdependent for everything. We all are sailing in the same boat. The suffering and agony are the same everywhere. There is no disparity of caste, creed, language, religion or race. This disease has spread everywhere. It is the question of human life and the virus attacks anyone whether he is rich, poor, a common man, a celebrity or a powerful person.
We can say it is an act of God to warn us that we have played enough with nature. We are being punished for our wrongdoings. So, how can we cope with the threatening situation? Well, we can do our bit. This is the test of our patience and perseverance. We are forced to confine ourselves and live with the bare necessities of life. At this the hour, we can be happy and be safe at home. We can pray for the well-being of others, fulfill our duties at the best and thank God for protecting us.
It is not the time to lose our heads but to discover our true selves. Every day we are tuned with the materialistic pattern of life. The daily hubbub of life disturbs us more. We can live in peace and stay calm to derive strength. We face pollution, commotion, traffic, competition, and rivalry daily that also gives stress. Due to the ongoing tragedy of mankind, we can feel contented with our present lives and fight the situation with courage.
Human qualities like love, kindness, philanthropy, and forgiveness can still be nurtured. We believe in the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” that is the whole world is our family. So, let’s join hands to save the vast family which is undergoing difficult times now. Let’s light our hearts and minds and feel the spirit of oneness.
This too will pass. Hope for a better world where we can start afresh. It is time to energize and recharge ourselves.
Pause for a while for life is precious.
