Cricket is a popular game in the world. Cricket is played all around the world. Every one likes to play cricket. Cricket is not only a game but it is life to many. Cricket is also called as Gentleman game. As, it was played by some gentlemen before. But at present it is played by everyone in this world. Especially in India no one exists without knowing the game Cricket.

Cricket was born in England. As, it was founded by gentleman in England. It was spreaded to all the colonies of British and European countries. Cricket is famous in England, India, westindies, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc. And now it is liked by many other countries like UAE, Oman, Singapore, Nepal etc.

Cricket is an outdoor game. Played with 11 players in each team. The match will be played between two teams. This game is played mainly with bat and ball. They also uses some gloves, helmet, pads to protect themselves from the ball. The team which wins the toss will elect to bat or ball first. Then the batting team starts with two opener batsmen on either end. The place where the batsman stands is called as crease.

The player who throws the ball is Called as bowler. He throws the ball with some action called bowling. Either he will throw the ball slow or speed. The speed is called as pace bowler. The bowler who throws slowly is called as spinner. When the batsman hits the ball then it should go away. If the ball crosses the boundary directly it scored as six. If it crosses along the ground is called as four. If the ball doesn't cross the boundary then the batsman should run either sides for runs.

☆ The Batsmen can be get out by many ways like :

》 Hit wicket

》 LBW ( Leg before wicket ) etc..

1. Bowled : If the bowl hits the wickets then the batsmen is declared as out.

2. Caught : when the ball was hitted by batsmen, if any fielder catches the ball then the batsmen is out.

3. Run out : During the running for runs, if the fielders high the wickets before the batsmen reaches the crease then he is out.

4. Hit wicket : If the batsmen hit the wickets during hitting the ball then he is out.

5. LBW : If the leg of batsmen comes across the ball which is seemed to hitting the wickets in impact line is declared as out.

☆ The team also get scores by many ways like extras. The reasons are as follows :

1. Wide : If the ball bowled by bowler is to far from batsmen either left or right side of batsmen crossing the limit line.

2. Leg bye : If the ball hits the body of batsmen without hitting the bat can be scored by running.

3. Bye : If the ball moves without touching the any part of body of batsmen is results as bye.

4. Free hit : If the bowler crosses the length line then it results as no ball or free hit where the batsmen is declared as not out for next delivery.

The cricket is played in three category. The three categories are test, one day international, t20 matches. Test cricket is played for 5 days. Every day is played for 90 overs. The match is played for two innings by the teams. If the match is not finished in 5 days then it is declared as draw match.

The one day international match is played for 50 over each team.The first played team sets a target in 50 overs then the next team should chase the target before the 50 overs finish. If not then the team loses. T20 match is also played in same way but it is played in 20 overs by each team. Each over is bowled for 6 times.

Nowadays cricket had became more famous. As, so many fantasy leagues were started for 20 overs. Like Indian Premier League ( IPL), KFC Big Bash, PPL, BPL etc. These all leagues shows that how popular the cricket is. Many games exists but cricket remains eternal in all.
