This is not a picture of me, but this outfit is a perfect choice for my body type. I am a curvy girl with ample hips, thighs, and upper arms.
The neckline of the top is lower because an open v-neck or sweetheart neckline elongates your neck and lengthens your torso. The peplum is perfect for someone with larger hips and a smaller waist, which is my body type. It accentuates the best part and skims over the fuller parts without drawing attention there. The sweetheart neckline is also attractive with a fuller bust. I like that it is not a deep v because I like my tops slightly more modest. The sleeve length nicely covers my upper arms, which is something I feel comfortable with, but is still short enough to not be stifling in the hot weather where I live. For some reason, my larger thighs look smaller when I wear tall boots, so that is another reason why I like this outfit. Darker jeans are a boost too.
