some people may think India is not developed. I am one of them. India is nowhere near developed and should still be classified as a developing country. 
there are millions of youths passing out from schools and colleges, and there are still not enough job opportunities for all of them. Education for all is still a distant dream, and poverty is still evident in some areas. The land and economy distribution is also unbalanced, and many people are below the poverty line, surrounded by debt. 
People are still discriminated on the basis of caste, sex, religion, etc., which is not a trait of a developed country.
