When you die, if your dreams are unfulfilled, doesn't mean you can fulfill them later. If you see at that point, you were holding on to something that never happened which is pointless in view of someone in search of God.

But memories are real and our experience. They are not dreams that are imagined. When we get close to death, we remember all the memories that were real once upon a time. We travel through timespace because we have no more frontwards travel in time left. We can only see it backwards.

So our past experiences or memories make us what we are not our dreams. So it is important to have good memories.
