Introduction : Recently our prime minister Shri Narendra Modi announced a great initiative of economic self dependence in our country which is known as the "Atmanirbharata".
Digital India scopes : The "Atmanirbharata" initiative has great scopes with the digital fields in our country, especially in the COVID-19 lockdown situation. Because,the dependency on the online platforms for various things had increased a lot in this time period. So,we can easily use these digital mediums for increasing the self dependence of our country.
Possibilities: From ordering foods and other essentials to working from home scenario,we all are dependent on the internet services. In many cases,these internet based services are provided by foreign companies. Now,we can easily start our own start-ups to replace these foreign companies with our home grown efforts. For example, if a Indian company makes a good video calling app,then it can be used in the place of the popular "Zoom" app. In this way,the path of self dependence had increased in this situation.
