Dr. B.R AMBEDKAR'S VIEWS FOR PROGRESSIVE INDIA
Dr. B. R Ambedkar is the Father of the Indian Constitution. He was truly a man of social justice who believes in equality and humanity. He was a social reformer, political thinker, parliamentarian and constitutionalist who played a very important and constructive role in shaping the India. His economic ideas were based on state socialism which he has reflected in Indian constitution at different places. He had a clear vision for future India.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar believed that, State can play important role in economic development of people. He recognized the need for a threefold strategy- Provision of equal right, Provision of legal safeguards and Pro-active measures against discrimination. He eliminates discrimination from constitution as a result citizens cannot be denied justice on the basis of economic or other disabilities. In the plenary session of the Round Table Conference on 20th November 1930, he said:
"We must have a government in which the men in power will give their undivided allegiance to the best interest of the country. We must have a government in which men in power, knowing where obedience will end and where resistance will begin, will not be afraid to amend social and economic code of life which the dictates of justice and expediency so urgently call for."
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is leader of modern India as it is because of him only we get the best constitution in world. He laid down the foundation of concrete and sincere efforts by codifying the common Civil Code for Hindus and other sections of the Indian society. He established finance commission of India and RBI was conceptualized by the guidelines from his book “Problem of Rupee; its origin and its solutions”. To empower women at that time, he presented Hindu Code Bill for women empower and to give them all round development more importantly social education.
He established the Central Technical Power Board, the National Power Grid System and the Central Water Irrigation and Navigation Commission in India. He also introduce he got enacted many labour laws like Indian Trade Union Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Compensation, Working Hours and Maternity Benefit for the wellbeing of the labour class. Dr. Ambedkar was of the firm opinion that unemployment, poverty and shortage of consumer goods cannot be removed without industrialization of India so he emphasize on industrialization. He made Damodar Valley Project and established Central Water and Power Commission to produce cheap and adequate power. He laid the foundation of industrialization of India by making plans for power generation, flood control, agriculture irrigation and multipurpose river schemes.
The contribution of Dr. Ambedkar in Indian Democracy is not to be forgotten. Ambedkar the true rebel and rationalist played a major role in the creation of new India. He has shown to the Indians that the goal under the fabric of Constitution is nothing but to establish social, economic and political democracy for the betterment of all Indians. We salute him for his all efforts and in honor to his unmatched contribution to Indian society we celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti on 14 April every year.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar is a person who always tried to perceive and even he took the quality of ascertain so that none will be discriminate with some reason like color, caste and religion because in those days there were many discrimination process happening in the times of the British because of the non unity of the people in india because of the caste and religious differences in india. The people of higher classes always discriminated the lower class of people including the children they used to force every one form the lower classes to work for the higher classes. Really it was too much disgusting even the great Dr. B. R Ambedkar was a victim of these discrimination process in our country. The people in those those days really faced too many muddles and event too many hotchpotch because this discrimination is really a worst thing done to any one by some other person because the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was a victim of the discrimination of caste. Being a person from a lower caste also he has formed our constitution and even Dr. B. R Ambedkar was a social reformer which is really a proud thing. Hence i conclude that Dr. B. R Ambedkar was a stupendous person and even is a zealous person of all time.
