Durga puja is also known as Navaratri in North.Durga puja is 9 days festival . All people celebrate it with happiness .Every day they offer different types of foods to Goddess.It is particularly popular in West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bangladesh and the diaspora from this region, and in Nepal where it is called Dashain. The nine manifested forms of Goddess Durga(Gauri) or (Parvati) are: Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayini, Kaalratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidhatri.
